• METHOD OF APPLICATION:

• Using the appropriate drill bit, drill a new hole in place of the damaged thread, trying to drill perpendicularly. Then, using the same size tap, cut a thread in the drilled hole. For easier work, use a tap handle and a ratchet tap handle. For harder steels, it is advisable to use NORMFEST Cutting and Drilling Oil when drilling and tapping. This reduces the wear of taps and drills and shortens the time for drilling and tapping. Then place the corresponding insert on the winding tool. Apply a little thread locker /bolt adhesive/ to the outside of the spring and install it. With the punch, break off the leading part of the threaded insert. If the spring itself is higher than the thickness of the metal and protrudes after installation, the excess part must be removed. The thread is repaired, and you can now screw in the bolt or stud. If necessary, you can also apply a little adhesive to it if you do not want it to loosen due to possible vibrations.
